Synopsis
Is there a god? Where is he? For whom is he there for? To whom does he reveal himself? And why doesn’t he reveal himself to me? Questions like these have always concerned mankind. The film explores these questions in a humorous way by travelling around the world and meeting the most important people with a distinct opinion regarding this issue. Besides the basic researchers – physicists suddenly turned religious; sectarian leaders; Marxists; miracle healers and self-proclaimed prophets – we talk with Earnie Chambers, longest-serving member of the Nebraska senate, who is sueing God in a U.S. court. This film shall be a personal, albeit somewhat turbulent, attempt at feeling one’s way towards a serious subject, though one executed with a wink. It is not about finding god, but about finding out how people handle their beliefs, and what lends them support in this world.
