In São Francisco district, in the city of São Sebastião, an archeological site reveals a probable illegal farm dedicated to the slave commerce. These slaves would probably come from the secret harbor in Castelhano beach, in ilhabela. In the same district, Congada was developed by black slaves and remains to this day. When we approached this district's Congada, it wasn't as religious as Ilhabela's one, but it was a lot more inserted in the cultural industry's schemes.
