"Dear Martin, the first time I came to Inis Mor it was raining. As I was getting of the boat through a cold and steady drizzle i was looking at this building across the harbour "The Bayview" and that's where we met. Chatting together each morning over a cup of tea. This was five years ago."
Filmed in super-8 black and white. "Aran, souvenirs from the floating world", through which we encounter the character of Martin O' Concannon, is a travel diary drawing, between daydream and reality, the unusual outline of an island which became famous worldwide since Robert Flaherty's documentary film, "The man of Aran".
