An improvised, material music-film, Miroir asserts absence as togetherness, text as “a rupture in the image”. Over contemporary and archival images of the Bosnian conflict’s destruction, Dobrac’s film unremittingly interrogates the relationship between image, text and politics, radically challenging the possibility of any document or depiction of war.
