Synopsis
Filmmaker Renée Wilna Span embarks on a journey to come closer to her father, who leaves their family when she is seven years old to pursue his career in music. When he suddenly dies in a car crash 14 years later she feels rudderless. Armed with the only picture she has of them as a family she searches for stories about the father she never really knew. What’s the importance of knowing your roots? How does it define you as a person? The result is an intimate, poetic mosaic of different kinds of footage and archive material.
