After reading an article about an incredible discovery of the oldest map in western Europe, engraved on a stone 13.000 years ago, the filmmaker travels to the nearest village, Araitz / Ultzama valley (Navarre) to trace, in 25 frames per second, the paths of a new map. Everyday conversations, festivities and routines blend on it, providing some kind of continuity, and even initiation, to certain traditions. But a key question starts and guides this adventure: How will these images be seen in the future, 13.000 years from now?
