Synopsis
The film concerns Australian native animals in songs set to video of wild animals and birds being rescued and fed by human rescuers. The animals are native to the southwest plains of New South Wales, Australia. Each 5-minute video tells a family story (for example - a blind and injured mother possum walks for days to find safety for her baby)(another example - a lost kangaroo survives and flourishes)(another - a pelican flies again). There are limited captions to indicate each story. Each animal is respected for its 'Dreaming' - its unique spirit. The music group is composed of asylum seekers. Hence the music styles are very different, ranging from a fifties-type sound to Australian native sounds to African music.
