Synopsis
Primo Spaggiari is a veteran of the Italian resistance (partigiano) of modest origins who became a small entrepreneur, owning a cheese factory. Every day he watches the miracle of milk turning to cheese and cheese turning to money. One day he receives a ransom demand for his son, who was kidnapped by terrorists. He then looks for a way of rescuing him and his business.
