Synopsis
Two daughters of a Protestant pastor turn away from religious austerity to change society. Julianne is a journalist and Marianne a member of the armed struggle. She leaves her husband and son behind. When she is arrested, Julianne becomes her tie to the world. The film is an indirect fiction of Gudrun Ensslin’s story, from the Baader-Meinhof group, who died in prison in 1977.
