Synopsis
Christmastime is the same every year: biting cold outside and no commissions for weeks. In his journal Father Christmas describes his feelings towards Christmas and his work. In a Christmas store he gets into a conflict about his perceptions. A lot of kitsch, nutcrackers, Christmas baubles and little figures are shown in the store - everything one could wish for., SANTA’S CONFESSIONS is a film that puts both sides of Christmas feelings into contrast and shows a german town between romanticism, reality, hurly-burly and insanity. A subjective point-of-view documentary portraying the Christmas store ‘Käthe Wohlfahrt’ in the town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber in times of Advent.
