Synopsis
What is memory's time? In 1958, in Cuba's Sierra Maestra, Gregorio Rivera presents himself to Fidel Castro's troops to fight against Fulgencio Batista's dictatorship. Known in the region for his work as a photographer, he is ordered to fight alongside the rebel army not with a weapon, but with his camera. Now, Goyo revisits his image archive from Revolutionary times and, through it, tells his story. However, at 93 years of age, memory is not as precise as dark room pictures. The ephemeral blurs the concrete image and the past is reconstructed in the present as a battle against aging.
