Synopsis
In this film, recovering heroin addict and first time director, Garry Fraser, takes us to the heart of the poor marginalised community he grew up in: Muirhouse, Edinburgh- the same place that inspired the world-acclaimed novel, Trainspotting. The story reveals a poor community struggling with addiction and the spread of AIDS that killed a large proportion of their youngsters. This is an open and heart rending journey where Garry faces up to the damage done by his life of crime and drugs as he works to ensure his three children have something he never had: a loving, supportive family.
