Synopsis
High up in the Pamir mountains, shepherds bring their flock up to the summer pastures in June and retreat to lowlands by September. Summer season means hard work, but the nomads view it differently. They have chosen to maintain the lifestyle that their forefathers led. They have been applying the knowledge collected over generations to take care of their animals - and of themselves.
