Synopsis
In order to invite people to their traditional marriage, a young Romanian-Korean couple visit Romania, the bride's country of origin. The journey begins in the Parisian metropolis and ends in a small village in Romania, all the way on the other side of 'paradise'. A depiction of present day Romania and her real life stories during the era of communism and post-communism are told with 'love-hate' for her country. Joy, anger, humor, compassion, love, and ultimately, hope all find their way onto this film in which the director takes his bride by his left hand all while holding the camera in his right.
