Synopsis
Dadá Figueiredo is the biggest anti-hero in brazilian surf history. RADICAL RIO tells the story of a poor young boy who trade the streets of the suburbs for the waves of Barra, an upcoming neighborhood in the 70's in Rio de Janeiro. Controversial and polemical, Dadá was all about defying boundaries, which helped him become the most well paid surfer in the country. But eventually, as in any other stardom cliche, money and fame destroyed him. He had to face chaos in his personal and professional life, which led him to forgetfulness.
