Synopsis
“Do Not Forget Me” show us Alzheimer's disease from the perspective of the one who takes care. The film, directed by Ana Júlia Isse, presents a 90 years old man love story. When Gino Ferry discovered that his wife, Wanda, was forgetting moments that they spent together because of Alzheimer, Gino goes back to his memories since 1930s, when they met each other, and writes a book about the couple life memories. Between old photography and poetry, the writer talks about how is he living with the disease and about the care he has taken with his wife. The documental reporting also presentes testimony of experts and researchers of the subject.
