Synopsis
The Youngest girls of '68 tells the story about a textile factory, based in a remote little Italian village,40 kilometers from Rome, which, in 1968, was occupied by the female workers. It happened when the manager decided to close the factory in one day, because he had found a cheaper place to rebuild it. In the precise moment the female workers had to go, they looked in each other’s eyes and didn’t move. They were all so young, 14 to 22 years old at last, and didn’t know anything about politics, anything about the big world out, they just felt they had to hold together against something unfair and wrong that was trying to take their future away. After 45 years, the “girls” meet again...
