The film shows the everyday life of a benedictine monk (Brother Benjamin), a five-person family (Hartmann Family), a singer and writer (Christiane Roesinger) and a free-skier (Sven Kueenle). Thereby, it aims to find out about their recipes for happiness. Between the ups and downs of everyday life, they accept the challenges and are satisfied. How do they do that? What do they have in common? What are the reasons for their happiness, in regard to their different ways of life?
