Synopsis
Isabel is a mule, a Spanish gypsy that was arrested in Venezuela flying to Spain with drugs. She was pregnant and gave birth to her daughter, Rosita, in prison. She now sleeps in prison and during the day lives with her daughter in a shantytown in the mountains of Caracas. Destined to live away from her family in a foreign country, with no possible return, Isabel struggles to build a home with her daughter in the chaos and violence of Caracas. 'Sin Vuelta' is a portrait of exile, of the reconstruction of a life, but also the portrait of a Latin-American city in the midst of convulsion.
