Synopsis
A SYMPHONIC THRILLER IN FOUR MOVEMENTS 1. ALLEGRO. Every 2 years, 130 conductors from all over the world take part in the Antonio Pedrotti International Competition, in the Italian city of Trento. They compete to be crowned as the best young conductor, a privilege only reserved to one of them. The difference between losing or winning lies in being unnoticed or becoming one of the great names of the future. 2. VIVACE. The protagonists live one week under the pressure of showing the jury their abilities: musical culture, charisma, technique, all qualities a good conductor should have. But not everyone is able to control his nerves. 3. ANDANTE. Round after round, many of our protagonists are eliminated from the competition. The number of competitors is drastically reduced. Who will be able to hold on till the end? 4. FINALE. The finalists are ready to face the last round of the competition. They are self-conscious and ready to talk about themselves, their aspirations and music. The Finale is approaching and perhaps it won’t be as they expected it to be.
