Synopsis
A modern research drama unfolds on the road between South Dakota and California. Someone moves forward with a desire formed like an arrow, trying to reach beyond her own imagination and discover the material truth of the rock record. Industrial magic soon pushes the protagonist into a different direction. At the Berlin Wall in Rapid City she comes up with a theoretical solution, but then she loses her thread. As the journey continues, the project cannot be maintained anymore. The more paleontologists she talks to, the more obscure their science appears. Dig sites become crime scenes and dinosaur fossils turn into characters, determined to play a main part in the disrupted history of the US-American West.
