This movie is about the shift of a spiritual society towards consumerist values. According to Hindu’s believes, the human body is composed of 5 sacred elements, earth, fire, air, water and ether (soul-spirit). Following the thread of these five elements, the movie immerses us in the paradoxical Indian society and through daily situations tells us about this profound transition. Nowadays each of these sacred elements is commercialized, it all seems very banal, but yet what is left of the human when the core of his spiritual heritage must give way to modernity?
