Synopsis
In I may be july, director Anna Peeters tells the story of Frederica. Her father has eleven children, birthed into three different families. Frederica grew up in a big house - in which two of the families lived together with their father. When she was fifteen she made the hard decision to follow her mother and leave the house. This is something which they have never talked about. The impact of her parents' choices on her own life has been crowding her mind. She decides to finally start the conversation. I may be july is a poetic coming-of-age story about the relationship between parents and children and the way this changes in the course of time.
