Synopsis
Anatol Schneider is the eldest amateur filmmaker in Belarus. No local event may be organized without his participation. But life in the provinces is often sleepy. Searching for new subjects, Anatol visits farms in the countrywide and documents the residents’ everyday work and their stories. Although many of them are clearly camera-shy, Anatol persists in working on a village chronicle – a description of a micro world that may soon be forgotten, if it were not for his recordings.
