Synopsis
The documentary follows the extraordinary journey of the journalist and revolutionary Mumia Abu- Jamal, who was imprisoned in solitary connement on death row in Pennsylvania, USA for 30 years. Since he was found guilty in 1982 of the murder of police oficer Daniel Faulkner on questionable evidence, America has been divided. The right wing has long expressed its undivided approval of the death sentence for “the cop killer,” while Mumia has become a left-wing icon and a symbol for freedom and justice in the United States.
