Synopsis
From a young age Diana Bellessi wanted to travel. At a time when few women traveled the roads alone, she hitchhiked her way across the continent. A poet looking for the lands promised by the books of her childhood. In time, she found that going to a nearby place could be as intense an adventure as those journeys were.
The secret garden joins the poet in the trip she makes every year end, from Buenos Aires to an island in the Parana river. There, surrounded by nature in the delta, in that place where the house's gardens fade into the bush, is where she writes.
"Writing also feels like vertigo - she says while cleaning the mud the high waters left with buckets of water-. But in having the feeling of vertigo and coming back lies the beauty. Writing pushed me far and away, and it brought me back."
