“The symbol and the pal” is a trip following a musical tour with two artists and friends, Joan Manuel Serrat and Joaquín Sabina, across Latin America where they have grown roots even deeper than in their own country, if that is possible. Serrat is the symbol for a whole generation, that looks up to him as a reference to follow. Sabina is the cuate, that mexican word that implies proximity, and means pal. They live the most varied situations during the tour, and their latinamerican friends also take part in order to help us understand their relationship with America.
