Synopsis
Fresh cod is a rare thing on your plate when on holidays at the popular Polish holiday destination – the Hel Peninsula. Even though, for centuries, it has been inhabited by skilled fishermen and hardly any other professions. In fact, the fishery is an embodiment of sociological values and identity of this region that treasures the sea and has respected it. Unfortunately, the very existence of a traditional way of life there has been threatened by the increasingly interfering EU legislation.
