Synopsis
Sandino is dissolved here. I wonder, if the content could transform the container. Would Lake Managua be possessed by Sandino?
If it does, then this lake is all Managua, all those who have ever lived here, because it is the city’s sewer, our waste has been dumped here.
I am like this lake. Unlike a river that renews itself whose waters are always clean, I keep and accumulate.
There is something very important from the 80's: for a moment in our history we believed and above all felt we had to designe our World, where we wanted to live. Perhaps for many people in my country the experience of those luminous moments became a chimera.
This story starts from a child's imagination where death is romantic and heroic, then grows with the deepest love and beautiful, the pain of loss, passes through the betrayal and finally up into space. Magic Words (to break a spell) is my emotional perspective of the revolution in Nicaragua.
