Synopsis
Depressed by the announced end of the K14 processing, a team of four young people decide to shoot the last Kodachrome film ever. They plan a journey to the very last laboratory (located in Parsons - Kansas, USA) which has still been developing the emulsion until the very last moment, ten days after their departure.
The film shows an epic journey where personalities get mixed up to experience the emergency of endangered expression, whose formal, fragile support is killed by the industry that does not care about freedom of aesthetics.
The characters, both the film makers and their actors, document one decaying society. They alternately display views ont their inner and outside world. They pursue cinematographic epiphany as a meaning against the inexorable passing of time. The tragedy of disappearance is counter-balanced by the voyage hitches and the impetuous will to fix the present tense.
