Synopsis
The unmarried siblings, Magnar and Oddny, run their family farm as generations did before them. Time appears to be standing still, as it is running out. A few things have changed, though. The horse was exchanged with the tractor in the 60s. Electrisity came in the 1970s. And a radio with cassettrecorder came in the 80s, but broke down in 2001. Magnar plans to surprise Oddny with a new one. At the electricity-shop he discovers the cell phone: Might be a great tool while working in the forest far away from the sister. The latest "earthquake" of their lives is a letter from relatives in America.
