Synopsis
When Andrew Moir was four years old his father was told he had two to five years to live. He had Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a fatal and incurable illness. Years later his father has defied the odds of the illness and is still alive. Now a filmmaker, Andrew meets a young family facing similar circumstances in an effort to re-experience his childhood and learn about his father's experience. Brad has ALS and three young kids, just like Andrew’s father when he was diagnosed. As Brad’s condition worsens he faces a heartbreaking choice. This short documentary follows his family as they cope with the challenges of parenting in the face of this devastating disease, exploring it from Andrew's perspective.
