Synopsis
It was at a rock concert, by chance, that I discovered The Lanskies. Like an electric shock, it was as if their energy took me back to a forgotten time. Listening to the voice of the singer, Lewis Evans, I had the strange impression of a ghost from the past reappearing: the ghost of Robert Smith, the lead singer of the Cure, and my idol in the 80’s. Whilst I film him, a friendship starts to blossom. I drag him reluctantly through the melancholy of my teenage year. From rehearsals to concerts, precarious jobs to moving house, recordings to interviews, parties to hangovers, I share his “ joie de vivre " with him for three years; explosive, insolent, with a passion for music, I share his doubts and his hopes.
