Synopsis
Three young students from Germany decide to pack their bags to experience Istanbul for half a year as part of an exchange program. Their expectations of the culture, the city, and the things they want to see are different: Janina expects to have a great time, but she is scared of the new culture, which is so far from her own. Özgür born in Turkey, but raised in Germany, wants to go back home - to the country he knew from his childhood. Joanna a photography students has high expectations in the art scene of this vibrant city. All three will be shaken by the new images, sounds and impressions they will live during six months in a culture that is different from their own and but they will somehow become part of.
