Synopsis
The film focuses on the duo Haas&Hahn (Jeroen Koolhaas and Dre Urhahn) who tries to improve people’s lives through art projects in neighbourhoods with serious social problems. It documents projects in Rio de Janeiro (Favela Painting) and Philadelphia (Philly Painting), improving the visibility of the disadvantaged neighbourhoods through creating enormous works of art in unexpected, amazing places. Neighbourhood residents transformed one of the most infamous streets and slums into an attractive centre. The documentary focuses on the Philly Painting – the successful neighbourhood face-lift project.
