Synopsis
Manuel do Palheiro, natural from Albergaria da Serra, lives in solitude with its cows' companionship. Under heavy rain and consuming sun, he heads to Serra da Freita every day, where he feeds both his sustenance and his meaning of life. A living portrait of a rural Portugal not yet blessed by the New Millenium but already showing its territorial influences. Opposing the civilizational roots, the eolic towers arrived to maintain the city's rapid pace and all its changes, indiferent to which the cows and its people proceed with their daily routines.
