Synopsis
The film takes place over two significant years in the life of Wanda, a mature woman with alcoholism past. She is in a relationship with 16 years younger Tomasz and believes that she is experiencing her first true love. We follow her as she is admitted to hospital to have a brain tumor removed. However, it is not cancer she is most afraid of, but a drinking relapse. Two years later, we meet Wanda as she is struggling to cope with some formalities. She is much changed, and single again. But although her beloved Tomasz has left her, she wishes him only happiness.
