Synopsis
Ma’anda, a mixed-race child, was recently born in France, far away from her Mum’s African roots. She has no idea that in Cameroon another Ma’anda (her over 100 year-old great-great-grandmother!)is eagerly expecting her. Neither does she know that this very name Ma’anda is her legacy. However, despite distance and young age, the child has to embody, by the power of this name, her forebear’s wisdom. A trip is set up for the child to meet with her relatives, with her roots, with her culture, with Africa…
