Do we know that behind the walls of Spanish prisons there are people with intellectual disabilities? Ángel, Fernando, Jesús and Paco are four intellectually-disabled men who once committed a criminal offence. Since that moment in their lives they have been part of the Program for the Care of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities in Prison established by FEAPS (Spanish Confederation of Associations for Intellectual Disability). This program monitors each case in order to guarantee that adequate care is given to persons with an intellectual disability.
