Living in interesting times

Duration 52 min
Synopsis
The film follows four charming people living the harsh reality of the crisis in Greece, a country where the tragic is often mingled with the comic. A parliamentary candidate juggles Party discipline, left liberalism and inconvenient truths. An unpaid employee deals with his political disillusionment and his anti-German rage with self-deprecating humor. Two artists in love, two beautiful dreamers, realise they are the ‘odd ones out’ and they decide to handle it. It is said that living in interesting times is a curse. This playful film reminds us that it’s just life –weighed down by sadness and anger, but also full of creativity and unexpected courage.
