Synopsis
Lhamo Kyab, a nomad from Eastern Tibet, escapes from China with his family into exile in India. Two years later, he decides to embark on a clandestine and symbolic return journey to Tibet. Meanwhile, 100 Tibetans set themselves on fire inside Tibet. 'A Sacrifice' considers the implications of the sacrifices being made by Tibetans in the name of freedom.
