Synopsis
La tierra quieta is the narration of a common rural family in an ordinary village of Nicaragua. It portraits the lives of Mrs. Estela and Mr. Sebastián, whose sons migrated looking for a better future. Ylan, is still a kid who lives in his own world of happiness. He ignores that in the future he may have to take some tough decisions, as his siblings did. Still land is the story of those who cannot dream, because those who did it, have already gone away. The film focuses on the inner time they live in a place of evident shortcomings. While a new government takes power, other things die in that land. Still land talks about the end and the beginning of the most ordinary things: how life ends and how life clears its path to go on.
