Synopsis
Goyo Carrizo was Diego Maradona´s best childhood friend. When they played together in Villa Fiorito, an extremely poor area in Buenos Aires, nobody could say who was the best. Goyo took Diego to his very first soccer club, and together they scored hundreds of times for the amazing "Cebollitas" team. Goyo could have been a soccer star, but an injure ruined his promessing career and changed his fate. He could never overcome poverty and suffered from a tough depression for many years. He is only known as the guy who discovered Maradona. Today, he works as a "talent hunter", trying to succeed at soccer once again. This is the story of the Maradona that never was.
