Synopsis
My name is Andrea Said. I was born in London, but lived in Colombia my whole life. My mother, Leonor Camargo, is Colombian and my father, Shahid Said, is Pakistani. I have never met him. When I was 24, driven by the need to know where I came from I embarked on a Journey to find my father, to give him a face, to shatter the illusion that he even exists. That’s how this film began. I crossed the ocean to find traces of his whereabouts. After 10 years I decided to give up my search, understanding that the void his absence has left is irreparable. Making this film has become my way to get to know him. Even so, my hope of one day finding him persists.
