Synopsis
This is the story of Jairo William, a peasant who lives between dramaturgy and theater. When he was a child, he changed a handful of onions for a circus ticket and since then, after meeting the clowns, his most powerful wish was to become an actor and a storyteller. He lives in the mountains of La Argentina, Huila. He cultivates the land, harvests his fruits and milks Fanny, his cow, in between, he writes and produces his plays with his company “The Childs of the Mountains”. The members of the company are his wife, daughters and a couple of neighbors.
Among some scattered papers, music and laughs this man completely modified the course of an essentially peasant community and today after plunging their hands into the soil they travel throughout Colombia and Latin America taking plays filled with the countryside spirit, that voice emerging from his chest, a testimony of his own being, a testimony of the won and lost battles in the middle of the his mountains.
