Synopsis
Landless Mexican peasants invent a new shape of fight by using their body as place of political and social resistance : they will demonstrate completely naked in the streets of Mexico City, twice a day, until they are proved right. LOS DESNUDOS belongs to a series of 3 short documentaries named "Our body is a weapon". The title of the series takes back a sentence pronounced by a Kurdish communist activist, handicaped after following a hunger strike: "Our body is a weapon, a rifle loaded with which firing for the victory". The tensions which deceive between those who occupy the surface of the image and the eye which looks at them is one of the main topic of Clarisse Hahn’s reflexion.
