Synopsis
I think of the present moment as the fiction of the past, designed and produced for the people of today – it is here before us and we don’t choose the kind of a world we enter. With the prevailing conditions of the present, I believe we inevitably direct the future the same way. Can I reach the person whose fiction I live? Who lives in the reality I created? What do the traces of landscape speak about? As I wanted to make a film about the future, I began the expedition towards the landscapes of Northern FI, into my autobiographical birthplace.
