Synopsis
A mural by BRian artist Luiz Ventura stands in a Lisbon subway station: "BR-PT 500 Years The Arrival". This is the departure point for a film in which we follow the trail of the Modernists, alongside the painter, in a rediscovery of BR. Our journey does the inverse trajectory of the pt colonizers. As happens in Ventura's paintings, the film juxtaposes and associates different historical references and several statements to tell the story of a land filled with colors. Regardless of an ecological disaster, a popular culture facing extinction and the massacre of an INn who was fighting for his rights, we have encountered people that, in their daily silence, resist with strength and humor. From small personal stories, from the emergence of a minor speech, one can glimpse the retelling of the History of many BRs.
