Synopsis
A new charity product has become popular in the last decade: sponsorship.
The charity bazaar describes the process of disenchantment of a donor (sponsor) engaged on a sponsorship program for an NGO.The sponsor is the filmmaker herself. Alongside with her friend Aleix, she travels to CO to shoot an infomercial for the NGO with which she collaborates.
As they advance in their shooting schedule, the filmmakers feel disappointed with the role they are playing in a foreign context, in which they lack some keys for interpreting reality.Guided by the NGO workers, they track the daily 0.60 assignment which is given to a sponsored child... shot after shot, the camera will show how the NGOs role is a mere performance.
