Kursdorf - a quiet portrait about the loudest village in dey.
(Long Version)
This documentary short film supported by the FFA (de Federal Film Board) portrays Kursdorf - a small village in Sachsen - where about 200 inhabitants lived in the year 2000. The extension of Leipzig-Halle Airport bordering directly to the small village, the highway Dresden-Magdeburg driven by 55.000 cars daily and a high speed train trail cut off Kursdorf almost completely from the outside world. Most inhabitants have meanwhile left the village - only a small group of just under 30 inhabitants are still living in the ghost town which is now dominated by vacant houses.
